Who we are
Plant Based Concept is operated by Plantonova Foods Pvt Ltd, Nagpur, Maharashtra. For anything about your data, write to support@plantbasedconcept.com.
What we collect
Very little, honestly. If you sign up for updates, we keep your email address so we can write to you. If you place an order, we keep your order details — your name, delivery address, phone number and what you bought — so we can get it to you and help if something goes wrong. If you create an account, we keep the email you sign in with and your order history. Orders and accounts are processed through Shopify, our store platform.
Payment details
We never see your card, UPI or banking details. Payment happens on Shopify’s secure checkout and is handled by our payment providers. What reaches us is confirmation that you’ve paid — nothing more.
Cookies and your browser
We don’t run advertising trackers, and we don’t follow you around the internet. Your cart is saved in your own browser so it’s still there when you come back. If you sign in to your account, a secure cookie keeps you signed in. Shopify’s checkout uses its own cookies to work — you can read how Shopify handles data in its own privacy policy.
What we don’t do
We never sell your data. We share it only with the people who help us run the shop — Shopify, our payment providers and our delivery partners — and only as much as they need to do their job. Nothing else, no one else.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it. Order records stay for as long as Indian tax and consumer law require us to keep them. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove everything we aren’t legally required to hold on to.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails anytime — every email we send has an unsubscribe link. India’s data protection law (the DPDP Act, 2023) gives you the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, and have it erased — and we honour all three without the paperwork. Email us at support@plantbasedconcept.com and we’ll take care of it. If you feel we’ve mishandled your data and we haven’t put it right, you can escalate to the Data Protection Board of India — though we’d appreciate the chance to fix it first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. No quiet edits.
